Fashion Friday: The Best and Worst of the Week
Another week, another Fashion Friday. I have to say, this is has to be one of my favorite blog posts of the week. Who doesn't like to criticize celebrity fashion?! With that said, lets begin!
Best:
Halle Berry in Dolce and Gabbana at the red carpet premiere of her latest movie "Cloud Atlas." This silver floral lace dress and grey Versace pumps is sexy and stylish, especially for a red carpet event. Way to go Halle, you've made every man in American lust over you even more than they already do. |
Nicole Richie at QVC's Shoes on Sale event in NYC, wearing a scarlet floral lace Scanlon and Theodore gown. Complete with black pointed Louboutins, what isn't perfect about this look?
British model Poppy Delevigne attending designer Matthew Williamson's party in one of his creations. This gorgeous and rich peacock dress is covered with Swarovski crystal embellishments, giving it a decadent but fun twist. This young model always gets it right. |
Model Hilary Rhoda in a stunning bordeaux draped bodice Zac Posen gown, attending Harry Winston's dinner for Jessica Chastain. This dress is absolute perfection, and with a classy and clean chignon and neutral makeup, this without a doubt makes everyone's best dressed list. |
Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Jason Wu at the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launch party. Wow, was the first thing I thought when I saw this look. I honestly think this a dress only a model could pull of. This dress is pure artistry, with sheer lace and panels of black leather. Even if burgundy lipstick wasn't so fabulously in style, she could still work it. Round of applause for this Victoria's Secret Angel. |
Pippa Middleton at the launch of her book in the UK "Celebrate." She was said to have 4 outfit changes (who knows why) but this particular ensemble caught my attention. This Stella McCartney peplum number is so darling and chic, I absolutely fell in love with this.
Worst:
Christina Aguilera at the Samsung Galaxy Note launch party sporting a horrid hair do and an even worse camel toe. This outfit should never be worn, let alone at an event. Christina is a repeat fashion friday offender, c'mon girl get yourself together! Micky Mouse should never be displayed across anyones boobage!

Vanessa Hudgens in a For Love and Lemons cutout crochet dress at the premiere of the Carrie Diaries. The word that comes to mind when I think of this is tacky. Nothing about this dress sparks an interest for me. Definitely a miss in my book.
Krysten Ritter at the premiere of her show "Dont Trust the B*tch in apartment 23" wearing a Reem Acra black cutout dress. While some may argue this look is daring and bold, I just think this comes across as more inappropriate. This dress looked a lot better on the runway, proving this is not really red carpet material. Atleast not on this B*tch.
Selma Blair at the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M launch party in New York City looking slightly confused. Did she let her child do her hair? And make her dress? Too many twists from the hair to the dress, I just got lost.
Disney actress Debby Ryan, at Sirius XM studios wearing a junk food tee and a heinous plaid skirt. Bit of advice Debby, when you're acting career consists of strictly Disney Channel, you gotta dress like a superstar not, a fashionably handicapped teen.
